GPS can be inaccurate due to indoor/urban conditions, device, battery, network or OS behavior. HomeLink filters noise and infers movement; maps/journeys are approximate. Do not use them as the sole evidence or basis for medical/safety decisions.
Do not upload passwords, OTPs, seed phrases/private keys, CVV, signing keys or authentication secrets. HomeLink is not a certified E2EE/key-custody vault. Minimize sensitive data and keep independent backups.
Regularly review House membership and permissions. Once an authorized member views/downloads/screenshots content, HomeLink may be unable to recall external copies.
Cloud synchronizes by House and uses version controls to avoid silent overwrite. On conflict, the app may require “pull from Cloud” before retrying a write. Do not use HomeLink as the only copy of irreplaceable data.
If unauthorized access is suspected, change passwords, secure email/device, sign out untrusted devices and contact us through jsofy.com.
